THE BAND HISTORY

When the band was formed for a one off appearance as a Blues Brothers cover band at a carnival party, not one of the musicians realised how successful the band was going to be.

"Funkist" (the bands original name) was only meant to perform for just one gig, but due to the enormous success of the gig and great response from the audience, they decided to continue with the project. Gradually the repertoire changed and they transformed into the Horny Funk Brothers, a band performing the hottest Funk and Soul tunes.
